CNMP as co-ordinator of the Partnerships in S&T Priority Areas Programme within the 2nd National Plan for Research Development and Innovation is involved in several ERA-NET projects.
According to the Decision no 9757/30.09.2008 of the National Authority for Scientific Reseach, CNMP is acting as Funding Agency for the Romanian partners in the joint calls for proposals launched within the ERA-NET projects.

BS-ERA.NET - “Networking on Science and Technology in the Black Sea Region”
The BS-ERA.NET project is a FP7 networking project aimed at integrating the participating countries from the Black Sea extended region in the European Research Area (ERA) by linking research activities within existing national, bilateral and regional RTDI programmes.
The BS-ERA.NET has a consortium composed by 17 managing agencies and ministries from 13 countries. The CNMP is the co-ordinator of the BS-ERA.NET project.
The duration of the project is 36 months beginning with 1st January 2009.

EuroNanoMed - “Nano from research to patient and industry”
The EuroNanoMed ERA-NET initiative comprises 24 partners from 18 countries/regions. EuroNanoMed aims at fostering the competitiveness of European nanomedicine players through the support of trans-national collaborative and multidisciplinary Research and Technology Development (RTD) projects with participants from academia, clinical/public health communities, and industry (particularly small and medium-sized enterprises).

Co-ordinated by the Region of Nord-Pas de Calais, CROSSTEXNET- ERA.NET draws together 17 research funding agencies on regional and national level in a co-operation project aiming at making more and smarter funding available to European textile research, on a permanent basis, by exploiting the potentials of international co-ordination and programming of research programmes.
